The Details: Attention all inmates of The Asylum, your queen Miss Emilie Autumn has requested your presence for a grand event that she will be undertaking with The Birthday Massacre at Irving Plaza on 11/27 – Please respond ASAP. Yes believe it or not dear Plague Rats, the travelling circus that is an Emilie Autumn experience will be pairing up with The Birthday Massacre for a co-headlining tour and they will be stopping at Irving Plaza and thanks to those awesome folks at Livenation, PiercingMetal will be putting some of the lucky fans into the venue for free. I’m excited about this for sure since I don’t think that either performer has done a show at this venue (well, as far as I can remember that is). Read on.
When and Where: Wednesday November 27th at Irving Plaza (17 Irving Place NYC)
To Participate: PiercingMetal has covered both of these incredibly interesting musical forces a few times apiece over the years and we are always impressed by the way that they have affected their fans. That said I would like the interested parties to let me know three ways that either Emilie Autumn or The Birthday Massacre have inspired you in life. You can even make it a combination since this is a co-headlining tour after all. I will be picking a few lucky fans from the submissions and letting them know right below their comments with one of my own. Be sure to enter your full real name and an email address since we shall need this for list purposes. It also never hurts to subscribe to comments for the duration of the contest.
Restrictions: While all PiercingMetal.com contests are open to our regional site readers, Facebook Page likers and Twitter Followers we do look at new responders first in order to give everyone a fair shot at enjoying a show on the provider and us. I do still encourage all to participate because you never know just how many tickets we are offering and when that last person might have won. The main restriction for this one is if you had won any of the contests in October you are not eligible for this one. Please note that Guest and Anonymous comments while approved are NOT eligible to win the contest either since we do need to know who you are.

Both Emilie and TBM have a lot of wonderful albums to share with you so I have embedded several links below for you to examine.
Emilie Autumn, back during her first NY show, was actually the first concert I ever went to. Who is not inspired by her unique music and electric violin skills? This is how Emilie has inspired me personally:
1. As I am primarily a metalhead, she reminds me of a whole different side of music and inspires me to explore my own feminine side a bit more.
2. She has inspired me to hold several tea parties with a few friends and appreciate victorian/gothic fashion and culture much more than I ever would have otherwise.
3. Her own personal story has inspired me to analyze society a lot more and I always think of her story when I read my psychology and anthropology books.
Miss French you are the first winner of one of our Emilie Autumn tickets. Congratulations and please stay tuned for the full details on how you claim this at the show.
I have Emilie Her music shows even the strongest person has their weak moments, that you can get threw the pain. As much as I love Emilie I lover Veronica! She is my hero, sweet, sexy, strong, kind. She has really been an Inspiron to me. Plus the visionals EA has are the best!
I’ve got you Jackie and you have won one of our tickets to see Emilie and The Birthday Massacre. It is surely going to be a great time. Please stay tuned to the comments or watch for an email from me about what you do to claim this prize that night at the show.
EA has:
1. Given important parts of my life a suitable soundtrack.
2. Made me want a harpsichord really badly.
3. Introduced me to the wonders of electric violin.
I am thankful for The Birthday Massacre because they have impacted my life in a positive way.
1.The Birthday Massacre inspires hope. When I am having a gloomy day, there music raises my spirit.
2. They inspire me to stay in stay in touch with the child within and be a better person.
3. The Birthday Massacre has taught me to embrace who I am and that it’s okay to be cute and creepy at the same time.
