The Scoop: Fear Factory are clearly the leaders in the cause for Industrial Metal enlightenment and for many years they have rallied the fans with exciting show after exciting show. For their 2013 tour the band has decided to perform their “Demanufacture” album in its entirety and to up the ante they are bringing along both Hate Eternal (as direct support) and new Metal greatness in Kobra and The Lotus. The show will be he a heart-stopper for sure and that excites me to announce that thanks to the folks at Livenation we shall be putting a few lucky PiercingMetal readers into the show for free. Read on below how to take part in this coolness.

When and Where: Thursday, May 2nd at Gramercy Theatre (127 East 23rd St. NYC)

To Participate: I will keep this one a little more simple and ask what importance has the music of Fear Factory had on you or how it has inspired you as a fan. The most compelling of the responses will be given a higher level of scrutiny and with that some of our wonderful readers will win a ticket to the show. These are single tickets of course and all submissions must find the responder filling in their full name and an email address in the comment form so we can reach them. It also never hurts to subscribe to the comments for the duration of the contest. I will be replying to the winners directly so let’s get on it.

Restrictions: While all contests are open to our regional site readers, we do look at new responders first in order to give everyone a fair shot at enjoying a show on the provider and us. Of course we still encourage all to respond because you never know just how many tickets we are offering. At present we have a lot of contests running but you just might be lucky based on the overall response. Please note that “Anonymous” or “Guest” submissions while approved are not eligible to win.

  1. I like the fact that they did the whole metal/industrial mashup which was pretty original and on top of that they have Dino Cazares who kicks ass and as a fellow Mexican myself makes me feel happy that there’s diversity in the metal scene! m/

    1. Noted and this wins you one of our tickets for the show on Thursday Mer-is-Ee-o. Please stay tuned to the comments section for the details on how to claim the ticket.

  2. To be honest I rather see Hate Eternal over Fear Factory. Soul Of A New Machine is Fear Factory’s best album, and nothing they have released comes close. I saw Fear Factory on the Mechanize tour and it was alright, nothing special. Meanwhile, Erik Rutan has released only quality stuff with Hate Eternal.

    1. Always great to watch someone we enjoyed early on become the headlining act. Congrats Katerine, you have won a ticket for the show on Thursday. Please watch the comments for the full details on how to claim this.

  3. Fear Factory is one of the bands that perfected the industrial sound created by Killing Joke. Last time I saw them was on the first Gigantour. Would be nice to see how they’ve evolved since then.

  4. hate eternal are gonna be beast on this show. i love early fear factory, has a great inspiration on winter nights, watching self bias resistor on headbangers ball form 1995 is like a dream. it makes me think how diff metal and music was back then. the only thing i really enjoy now is the drummer. hate eternal and the local opener sanitarius are gonna be the ones to watch out for on this show.

  5. Looks like an awesome show. Fear Factory is amazing. When I broke my ankle a few years back I listened to was Fear Factory and brutal type of music while recovering. They truly helped me or was it the painkillers? Securitron the song is what I look forward to hearing, hopefully they play it. I would love to go to this show and rock out.

    1. I’m going to say that the painkillers were probably what did the trick but let’s give you a ticket to test out the theory you presented. Stay tuned to the comments for the details on how to claim it.

  6. Dino Cazares style is very unique. I had the chance to see him perform years ago when he played with Divine Heresy at Terminal 5. I haven’t bee lucky to see him perform with Fear Factory. Dino’s style got me into listening to more industrial death metal. It’ll be awesome to see him perform with Fear Factory!

    1. Awesome stuff Juan Diego, and we shall be giving you a ticket for the Fear Factory show on Thursday. Stay tuned to the comments for the details on how to claim your ticket.

  7. This contest has closed, so please no more submissions to win. Our lucky fans have been informed under their entry and should go to the venue box office on the night of the show with proper identification. Their name will be on the Livenation list and if any issues are encountered they should ask for an onsite manager and reference that this contest was done in conjunction with PiercingMetal by Livenation Marketing. I’ll be hitting this show as well so if you see me around please feel free to say hello.
