The Details: Vanilla Fudge is one of the legendary names in Rock and Roll history and were truly innovators of sound from the very beginning. They were most commonly known as being the band that took songs that were already popular and known and morphing them into wild Psychedelic renditions that twisted and took you to a different space in your music appreciating mind. Formed in 1966 by Mark Stein, Vince Martell, Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice, the band released five albums in full before disbanding. They’ve been back to a full scale reunion charge for the past few years and I am happy to report that in the 2015 ever changing music geography of the world that the band still performs with three of its original four members. This March the band releases their first new album in several years entitled “The Spirit Of 67” and they will surely be playing tunes from this album at the show. That said I am psyched to be offering my PiercingMetal readers the chance to see this incredible band for free thanks to the fine folks at B.B. King Blues Club where they will be performing once again. Read more on how to participate below.
When and Where: Friday, February th at B.B. King Blues Club 7:00pm (237 West 42nd Street NYC)
To Participate: Let’s keep this one on the simple side. Tell me either what interests you most about the music of Vanilla Fudge or what you like most about them and their shows and impact on the music genre. Please give me more than “because they’re cool” because that is just too un-original. If you have never seen them before make sure you mention that and what you are most excited about this show for. I’ll be responding to the comments that I like most right below their answer. Be sure to enter your full real name and a working email address in the comment form as we need this for listing purposes. Do NOT place this information in the comment itself as it will not be approved (privacy concerns and all). It’s important to subscribe to comments for the duration of the contest for good measure. Please only enter oncebecause with all comments being moderated you will not see your submission until it is approved. Let me have it and yes this is for a single ticket only based on demand. We also ask that you only enter if you can and will attend should you win. If its logistically challenging to be at the show, please bypass this giveaway so no one else misses out.
Restrictions: All of the PiercingMetal contests are open to our loyal readers, Facebook Page likers and Twitter Followers but that being said we are still looking for the new names first. Don’t let that stop you from entering of course but we do keep track based on the overall demand for this stuff at this point. We want EVERYONE to have a chance to enjoy a show on the provider and PiercingMetal but if you just won you will likely not have a chance for this one. Please note that Anonymous or Guest comments while approved will not be eligible to win and this contest is running concurrently with our giveaway for Uriah Heep as well. Readers can only win one of these two contests.

Listening to the Fudge brings you back to a different time and vibe for modern music, oh wait, I already said that in this contest. Silly me. That said please dig into these great releases from the band .
This would be a great opportunity to see one of hard rock and metals great drummers. Been a fan since the King Kobra days so this would be a really special show for me.
Indeed and attend this show you shall so please stay tuned to the comments for one from me that lines out the details on how you claim it that night.
I’ve seen Vanilla Fudge a couple times in the past few years and they seem to defy age. Its pretty unbelievable how a band from the late 60s can sound this good. Despite their agelessness, the clock is ticking & one never knows when these elder bands will be unable to perform any longer. VF are the band that Led Zeppelin opened for back in the day. Carmine Appice, now 68 years old, has an outstanding musical career, and it would be great to see the band that is the origins of this legacy.
I agree with you, one never knows just when that last gig might be so go while you can and on that note congrats on winning one of our tickets to see Fudge this Friday. Please watch the comments for one from me that lines out the details on how you claim it that night at the show.
