The Details: You know his voice full well from decades behind the microphone of the mighty Queensryche but now the great Geoff Tate is commanding a whole new band and bringing you classics along with the newness under the moniker of “Geoff Tate’s Operation: Mindcrime”; He’ll be bringing you a rock solid show at the Gramercy Theatre to start our March Metal Madness off properly and thanks to the powers that be at Livenation, PiercingMetal is stoked to put a few lucky fans into the show for free. Read more below on what you need to do to enter this contest.

When and Where: Tuesday, March 1st at Gramercy Theatre (127 East 23rd Street NYC)

To Participate: Despite the dramatics that went down with Tate and Queensryche, the time has come for all of us to move forward and appreciate the music. With Geoff being responsible for so many awesome Metal moments over the years I want you to tell me what your three favorite Tate tracks might be. They might be super old or they might be super new. It’s up to you of course and since its personal there is no right or wrong answer to give. Heck we might even be in agreement on some of them. You can expand your thoughts on what Tate means to you as a performer because I want the diehards to be in attendance for this one. Make them solid to read more than just a plain old “because they rock man” because that is just too un-original and boring. If you’ve been a fan for many years I want to hear from you. I’ll be responding to the comments that I like most right below their answer and yes this is a surprise quick contest so how lucky are you guys. This is for a single ticket only and no plus one requests will be honored. Sorry. If your attending absolutely must have a plus one, I will ask that you do not enter.

– Enter only enter once. All comments on PiercingMetal are moderated and will not appear immediately after submission until reviewed by an admin.

Don’t let that stop you from entering of course but we do keep track based on the overall demand for this stuff at this point. We want EVERYONE to have a chance to enjoy a show on the provider and PiercingMetal but if you just won you will likely not have a chance for this one. If You Win This Contest: If you are marked as one of the winners for this contest, here is how to claim the ticket. On the night of the show go to the venue box office and ask for Livenation Guest List. There should be a PiercingMetal Contest reference. Please bring proper identification (driver’s license, passport, NYC ID card) and your name will be checked off that list for you to enter. If you encounter any difficulty, please politely ask for an onsite manager and cite how this contest was done in coordination with venue Marketing and PiercingMetal.com.
