Win A Ticket For Tom Keifer @ B.B. King Blues Club On 5/5/2015

Poster - Tom Keifer at BB Kings - 2015

The Details: Tom Kiefer is the legendary voice behind the Blues-laden Hard Rock sensation known as Cinderella and he is once again out on a solo tour to entertain his fans. Maybe you’ve seen him before fronting Cinderella and if this is the case you know what you are going to get at this one, a night of excellence. He released the solo album “The Way Life Goes” back in 2013 and has been touring in support of it when it’s possible to do so. Once again he will be hitting the venerated B.B. King Blues Club in Times Square and thanks to the clubs Marketing Team, PiercingMetal.com is going to remind their readers about the “Long Cold Winter” that we narrowly escaped only months ago. This show will also feature support from John Corabi who will be doing the entire album that he recorded with Motley Crue during his tenure and that will be great since you’re not going to hear them on the Farewell Tour for Crue IMHO. Read more on how to participate.

To Participate: Just tell me three reasons why Mr. Keifer does it for you musically and please be sure to make them good ones. Simply saying “because he rocks dude” is not going to work at all. Bonus points to those who might have something cool to share about their experience as a fan of his but if you are completely new that should not stop you either. I will be replying to the winning comments directly and letting you know if you have won. Remember to put your full real name in the comment form along with an email address that you can be reached at if you win. Please do NOT put this information in the comment itself out of privacy concerns. We ask that you only enter once and if you can and will attend the show if you win and it’s logistically possible to do so. Essentially if you live a couple of hundred miles away we don’t think you’re coming here for a show. Subscribe to the comments and check back to see the latest status. As usual I will be letting winners know directly under their comment so you know as soon as I mark it down. Bring it on.

When and Where: Tuesday, May 5th at B.B. King Blues Club (237 West 42nd St. NYC)

Restrictions: While all PiercingMetal.com contests are open to our regional site readers, we look at new responders first in order to give everyone a fair shot at enjoying a show on the provider and us. Interested parties should still enter for good measure because you never know just how many tickets we are offering and when the last person might have won. Guest and Anonymous entries are not valid.

  1. 1. I think Cinderella is the most underrated band of the ’80s, often written off as bad hair metal because of their name and look, but in reality an amazing blues-based rock ‘n’ roll band that has a dozen instantly recognizable classics.

    2. I only saw Cinderella headline once, back in 2011, and it was one of the top 3 LOUDEST shows I’ve ever been to, and also one of the best.

    3. Tom Keifer as a solo act is amazing. “The Way Life Goes” was one of my favorite albums of last year, highlighted by “Ask Me Yesterday” and “It’s Not Enough”. His solo shows are a good mix of Cinderella songs, original stuff, and some excellent covers. He’s proved that he’s still very relevant to the hard rock scene.

And if I may add, I’m a big fan of John Corabi too. His solo acoustic sets of original songs and songs off of the very underrated Motley Crue album that he sang on are excellent.

  2. 1. It’s amazing that after so many hurdles with his voice, Tom Keifer can still put on such an inspiring performance. This concert will be an awesome start to what’s sure to be an amazing summer concert season!

    2. Tom does not mess around to put on a huge, arena-ready performance in a club setting.

    3. Tom Keifer with Cinderella are one of the few great 80’s hard rock bands that developed a sound that would define a generation.

Side note: if I am one of the lucky winners to win a ticket, seeing John Corabi open would the icing on the cake for what should be a hot spring night in New York city.

    1. Having seen Keifer in the past myself, I agree with everything you have said Ian and that being said congrats on winning one of our tickets to see Tom Keifer at B.B. King Blues Club. I’ll be posting the claiming details at the close of the contest so stay tuned. This is going to Rock.

  3. 1. The first concert I ever saw at L’amour was Cinderella and it was amazing – it was also my first Cinderella concert.

    2. Even with throat issues and surgeries he’s still going strong and putting on great shows.

    3. I’m a fan of the Cinderella catalog and I’m enjoying this new album.

John Corabi is the opening act. That’s a bonus!

  4. Alright my friends we are running super close to the show itself so I am closing my contest right now and saying congratulations to all our winners. I’m also feeling generous this afternoon and want to give you a second ticket for the show to bring along a friend so you can rock out together. Here are the claiming details.

On the night of the show go to the venue podium and ask for the House Guest List. You will need proper ID and once that is confirmed you will be let into the venue. There might be a PiercingMetal reference there as well. Should you encounter any difficulty, please politely ask for an onsite manager and cite how this giveaway was done in coordination with the venue Marketing team. I’ll be there as well so if you see me around don’t hesitate to say hello. Just make sure I’m not in the middle of something 🙂

    1. Thanks Ken for accepting my answer and for adding an extra ticket to bring a guest! I can’t wait to see this show at BB Kings.

  5. 1) When Night Songs first came out the entire album blew me away from beginning to end. Tom Keifer really kills it with an aggressive bluesy edge. Long Cold Winter also another great classic plus covering Janis Joplin’s “Move Over” on the “Stairway to Heaven Highway to Hell” compilation made me a die hard fan.

    2) When Tom Keifer had surgery and was told he at never sing again all odds were in his favor to get back on top and prove everyone wrong.

    3) My first chance seeing Cinderella was at Irving Plaza in
2011 and well with the wait
