Fall has arrived and while we’ve had some warmer days to enjoy, the chill is on its way and will likely be here just in time for the arrival of the famed New York Comic Con. arrives in our Metal Metropolis. The Fall, and the famed convention will also herald the arrival of the band Cold Slither, a group that is shrouded in mystery, intrigue and might even be up to some nefarious doings. Read on my friends.

The Details: To my knowledge, Cold Slither has been hiding under a rock for many, many years but they have recently resurfaced with new music that comes care of the Reigning Phoenix Music label. Their return can only mean one thing and that is the rise of the insidious Cobra Command. If you recall the seemingly endless battles with the GI JOE Adventure Team, Cobra only wants one thing. Total Global Domination. Now, thanks to the marketing team at Live Nation’s Gramercy Theatre, a secret team of fans will be deployed into the venue to observe the goings on and be able to report their findings to the High Command. This musical mission will be a precarious one so review the dossier below carefully.

When and Where: Saturday, October 11th at Gramercy Theatre (127 E 23rd S, New York, NY 10010) at 8:00PM

To Participate: As this is a special concert recon mission I am going to keep it on the simple side. For starters please name your allegience. Are you with the GI Joe’s and looking to defend everyone’s freedoms or are you under Cobra’s thrall and willing to serve proudly under the will of Cobra Commander and Serpentor. I also wonder if you remember the cartoon but if you do not it doesn’t work against you. Lastly, what about this show piques your interest? Since this is not a usual kind of appearance I decided to be a little less retentive. As I understand, the band will be in their signature outfits which makes this very very interesting to me. I’ll be heading there myself right after the New York Comic Con. Now its very important to review the guidelines.

* Enter only once. All comments are moderated and don’t appear immediately after submission so be patient and don’t enter numerous times. It’s important to make sure you that you are entering a NEW comment and not replying to another contestant’s entry as that will get confusing when the decisions are being made.
