Cape Fear metal legends WEEDEATER are hitting the road in August with support from Joe Buck Yourself and Adam Faucett! The trek will kick off in Greensboro, NC on August 5 and will conclude in Asheville, NC on August 20. Tickets are available now and all links and dates can be found below!

WEEDEATER was formed by front-man/bassist “Dixie” Dave Collins. Following the release of their 2001 debut ‘…And Justice For Y’All’, WEEDEATER immediately established themselves as a force in the U.S. tour circuit and quickly gained notoriety in the American metal scene. In the time since, the band have released three critically-acclaimed albums: ‘Sixteen Tons’ (2002), ‘God Luck And Good Speed’ (2007), and ‘Jason… The Dragon’ (2011), and toured around the world with the likes of DOWN, SAINT VITUS, HIGH ON FIRE, and THE MELVINS, HANK III, EARTH, SUNN O))) and more. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Oddly enough, I cannot place if I’ve ever seen Weedeater in concert before because its just not coming to me as a quick “oh yeah I remember when they played with etc.etc.”. That’s not a slight at all since NYC is a busy place for shows, or at least was before the pandemic and there were a lot of bands coming through on a nightly basis. That being said my background on the group is limited and had there been a New York stop I would have investigated it if my head was back into the concert attending mindset. I did actually attend a big Tribeca Festival event last night with KISS but to be quite honest the world could be melting and I would still do a KISS thing but I digress. I hope to catch these guys in the coming months and wonder what you readers think about it all. Chime in down below in the comments and let me know what you think.
