Warner Brothers Television has a new series coming to HBO called “Lovecraft Country” and they’ve shared a teaser at the Comic-Con. You can check this out and more down below.
The Premise: Lovecraft Country follows “Atticus Freeman as he joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback”.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This looks like it might be interesting but I am not too sure that I am keeping my subscription to HBO at this time. Now that “Game Of Thrones” is over, there is very little appeal on the network for me but let’s see how the summer plays out since I have other things to concern myself with and with the virus still ruling the day, I’d rather have as much entertainment on hand as possible. Sure I should be doing that shredding and laundry folding that I spoke of being a good idea some months ago since that stuff never stops but hey all of us are handling this process differently. The clip leaves me curious so something else to talk about in our Pop Culture narratives since there aren’t any shows happening. What did you readers think about this?
