As the world is still immersed in the Coronavirus pandemic, I guess I could have predicted a considerable delay in the full Official Trailer for the upcoming Warner Brothers Pictures release “The Batman”. Of course I must admit that I didn’t think it would be more than a year in coming but I digress and if you didn’t see that post with all the other things going on in the world you can just click HERE to review it and learn my thoughts at the time. Since that time the world got the dreadful “Wonder Woman 1984” and the only okay IMHO James Gunn effort “The Suicide Squad”. Now comes the chance to give “The Batman” a better look so let’s do that shall we? Some premise and casting are below for your review. Enjoy.

The Premise: During his second year of fighting crime, Batman pursues the Riddler, a serial killer who targets elite Gotham City citizens. He uncovers corruption that connects to his own family during the investigation, and is forced to make new allies to catch the Riddler and bring the corrupt to justice. (c/o Wiki)

PiercingMetal Thoughts: > I must admit that this looks far better than I could have hoped but here is my issue with the DC Comics representations on film. So few of them are connected together in the same universe of films and that is exactly what the fans want them to do. Stop overthinking this crap and just connect the damn properties better already. Initially I wondered how Pattinson was going to be as The Batman but he seems to have a proper lock on it but I will admit I don’t like the idea of The Riddler as a serial killer kinda villain. I’ll see the movie when it comes out for sure since I always prefer them on the big screen as opposed to the small and that is all that I have to add about this trailer. Now its time for you readers to share your opinions and let me know what you think. You can do that down in the comments section. See you next time and I don’t think that I need to point out that I will be following all the proper information about this film as we get the newness. Ciao for now.
