The other day, Warner Brothers Pictures delivered “5” little snippet trailers for the upcoming “Justice League” live-action film and it was all to lead us into today’s big reveal of the full on Official Trailer for the movie. The choice of date was interesting as today is the one year anniversary of the much maligned “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” film, and I offered up my thoughts about the feature on THIS LINK. Now please enjoy the Official Trailer, the casting and even the teaser poster and then I’ll return with some personal opinion on it.
The Synopsis: Months after the events of Batman v Superman and inspired by Superman’s sacrifice for humanity, Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince assemble a team of metahumans – The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg – to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and the Parademons who are on the hunt for three Mother Boxes on Earth.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I watched the trailer three times before scribbling this part of the post up and while I did enjoy what we saw going on, I was immediately reminded of what ended up bothering me in the “BVS” film. The overall fighting visuals have too much of a video game aesthetic to them and as a fellow geek says to me looks very “300” which makes sense since Zack Snyder did that one as well. There is lots of slow motion movement displayed and I am growing tired of that but I will say that the action looks good overall. I did like how the characters were interacting and to see that some level of humor has been introduced between them. I’ve said this before and I will repeat that I don’t like armor on The Flash as this is not an Iron Man movie but Aquaman not only seems badass but this film might make his own feature a whole lot of interesting fun. Batman surely impresses and showcases a let’s get this done attitude while Wonder Woman appears to be the one that centers them all and I will guess that she is the glue that lets the team work together properly. The film doesn’t open until November so let’s see what else comes out before that time. What did you readers think about this new full trailer and what are your expectations from this film. Do you think that the DCEU will get this right or leave us for want? Let me know in the comments section below.

Sorry, but it’s hard for me to get excited about this. I hate the slow-mo/ all CGI style of it. The interactions are good, I guess. But, it seems like it’s overly funny to ease over the complaints of fans saying that the DC movies are too dark. I guess we shall see how it all turns out…
