Though I’ve seen the shorter teasers and trailers that came before this new reveal, I’ve not yet shared anything about the upcoming Warner Brothers Pictures epic fantasy “King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword” – until now. Truth be told there have been a lot of awesome films opening up and I’ve been trying to not only get bodies into the concerts with this website but to the movie theater as well. Since this film gives us a new take on a classic legend, and one that I always enjoyed during my youth, I had to share the final trailer for it which you can watch below. Check it out.
Plot: The young Arthur runs the back streets of Londinium with his crew, unaware of his royal lineage until he draws the sword Excalibur from the stone. Instantly confronted by the sword’s influence, Arthur is forced to decide when to become involved with his power. Throwing in with the Resistance and an enigmatic young woman named Guinevere, he must learn to master the sword, face down his demons, unite the people to defeat the tyrant Vortigern — who murdered his parents and stole his crown — and become king. PiercingMetal Thoughts: It seems as though every heroic tale of bygone days now becomes an over the top action film with lots of slow-motion stuffs going on but I had to admit that this one looks pretty good. I don’t know a lot of the actors outside of Jude Law and Eric Bana but as I said in my opening notes, I grew up on these legends of the “Knights Of The Round Table” and think that I would like to see this one. It’s too early to decide whether or not I’ll have the time to do the proper big screen showing or will be waiting for the paid for cable service but who knows. This surely looks action packed. You readers should let me know what you think of this one down in the comments below and if you’d like to learn more about the film, you can still safely do so via the films official Wikipedia entry down below. Until we meet again and if you feel like brushing up on your reading you can order a copy of the tome linked below.
