Arriving just in time for the annual New York Comic Con comes the first trailer for “Birds Of Prey”; a film that bears the formal title of “Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn”. Whew that is a mouthful but don’t open too wide lest she put a stick of dynamite in there. Let’s watch the first trailer down below, enjoy some premise, casting and a teaser poster.

The Premise: Since the events of Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn has left the Joker. Batman has disappeared, leaving Gotham City unprotected from crime. When a young girl named Cassandra Cain comes across a diamond belonging to crime lord who goes by the name of Black Mask, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to protect her.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I have to say that this does look interesting enough to see early on in the theatrical run. As you might have noticed this connects to the other DCEU films and might be a step in the right direction which is sorely needed. Remember that the soon to be opening “Joker” film is NOT connected to any of those at all and yet despite this has gotten some advance praise. I will be seeing it post the NYCC at some point next week so will make my own assessment. Other than that I did like this and hope you did as well. Chime in down below if you like.
