We’re cooking with gas from the currently ongoing Comic Con International: San Diego and sharing the relevant trailers to our readers that showcase the live-action releases based on the wonderful comic book stuff that we speak of several times a month. I guess it was a few months ago by now that Warner Brothers Pictures gave us the trailer for “Justice League” and I was left on the “meh” side with minor “ah-ha” moments. Since that time the “Wonder Woman” film had been released and did GANGBUSTERS at the Box Office and guess what my friends, the film was pretty damned excellent. Many of us left the theaters thinking that they were finally on the right track with the DC Extended Universe. Now it’s time to take a look at the Exclusive Trailer that was revealed at the convention. Hold onto your hats my friends. This looks to be quite a ride and if you’ve not been following these films yet I will provide some information afterwards.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Before I get into this part of the editorial, let me fill in those readers who might not yet have given the DC Extended Universe a go. Believe me this is possible because I’ve run into people who have never seen “Star Wars” so this idea doesn’t surprise me. If you are one of these folks, you need to begin with the movie “Man Of Steel” and follow it with “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” which was given a non-spoiler review HERE. You’ll want to continue onto “Suicide Squad” (also given a non-spoiler commentary HERE) and finish with “Wonder Woman” which is currently still in the theaters and is an EXCELLENT film. Before posting this I made sure to watch the trailer a few more times because it gives you a better idea of it and I have to say that I think we all might be surprised by this one. As I’ve noted already, Wonder Woman was great as a super-hero film and while I initially feared how “Justice League” might turn out since I was hating the whole Zack Snyder machinations, this looks like they’ve took the mistakes that were made in “BVS” and moved on from them. I love the commentary by who I imagine is Steppenwolf (the big bad in the film) that there are “no Lanterns and no Kryptonian” to contend with. I’d be hard pressed to think this is Darkseid or anyone else. Since the time of the first trailer, Snyder has stepped down from the film to deal with family issues and director Josh Whedon is in place putting the finishing touches on it. I will admit that after watching this one that I am no longer as scared about it and am more interested in seeing it straightaway. Sure I have minor gripes but let’s see how they are worked with. I am wondering who the mystery figure is that Alfred speaks to at the end of the clip. Many feel this is Superman but I don’t think so since we all know he is coming back. This might be a surprise bad or maybe even someone who looks great in green. Remember that this film opens in November and I believe will be before “Thor: Ragnarok”. What did you readers think about this new full trailer and what are your expectations from this film. Do you think that the DCEU will keep the momentum built up by “Wonder Woman” going? Let me know in the comments section below.

on Official Trailer for the movie. The choice of date was interesting as today is the one year anniversary of the much maligned “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” film, and I offered up my thoughts about the feature on THIS LINK. Now please enjoy the Official Trailer, the casting and even the teaser poster and then I’ll return with some personal opinion on it.
