PiercingMetal Thoughts: Truth be told I’ve enjoyed all of the trailers for “Aquaman” so far and this one just firms up the vibe of the earlier ones in my cinephile psyche. For many fans of the comic book heroes on this side of the movie fence, the viewpoint is just how much of a mess the DECU is with no consistency, no apparent direction and the need to throw everything but the kitchen sink into the films while leaving out absolutely crucial elements that help move the whole thing forward. “Wonder Woman” was a success and led us to believe “Justice League” would be on a good path but that was a mess and made so little for the studio. “Aquaman” looks like it brings some of the brash fun we find in the “Thor” films and the action of the “Captain America” ones so maybe somehow they are finally realizing what we as paying customers want. I don’t see myself catching this on the opening day based on holiday demands but who knows. I just might prove myself wrong. What do you folks think of the “Final Trailer” for Warner Brothers Pictures “Aquaman”? Chime in down in the comments below.
