“Join us on September 29 for an exclusive U.S. music event with composer Einar Selvik of Wardruna! Having written songs and scores for HBO’s hit series “Vikings” and the game “Assasins Creed Valhalla”, the music of the Norwegian group has received worldwide recognition. Wardruna’s last record, “Kvitravn”, charted in 13 countries, including #1 in Canada and Austria, and #2 in Germany. During this Nordic Night event held in advance of a major upcoming performance at Red Rocks in Colorado, Selvik will guide the attendees into Wardruna’s universe in word and sound, exploring nature and animism, myths, Norse spiritual concepts and more. PiercingMetal Thoughts: This sure sounds like a cool event to attend and I am going to look into being one of the media flies on the wall to bring you some kind of report. Historically speaking I’ve only been to Scandinavia House twice and its always been an interesting time from my recollection of those events. Brainstorming or barnstorming, whatever you want to call my random thoughts, but I would also love to just explore the Scandinavia House at some point for the lifestyle website Piercing Ken since there is a restaurant and some exhibits. It might be cool for something over there but I digress. This is all about Wardruna and ensconcing yourself in their world. Wrapping up I wonder what you folks out in the readership think about it all. Chime in down below in the comments and oh yeah before I close up, if you didn’t see the announcement about the Red Rocks Ampitheatre performance, just click HERE to bring that report up in a new browser tab. See you next time, hope your rapidly closing summer has been an enjoyable one.
