Uriah Heep is back for the attack in NYC and I am super excited for this show because the band kicks many levels of Hard Rock ass on the stage and has delivered again and again for decades. Now I’ll admit to being a bit of a latecomer to their sound but that does not mean that I don’t enjoy songs like “Easy Livin'” and “Free and Easy” just as much as the rest of the Metal world. The band will be celebrating their rich musical history by playing a number of their classics along with tunes from their latest release on Frontiers Records “Into The Wild” at the famous Times Square venue B.B. King Blues Club and Grill on November 14th. You are not going to want to miss this one and and thanks to the fine folks at B.B. King Blues Club, some of the PiercingMetal Fans are going to get to see this show for free. Isn’t that awesome? I think it is.

I want to go because I love the old 70’s dinosaur metal bands because without them metal would have died out in that era with only deep purple, sabbath and zep carrying the torch. I always loved “easy living” too.

Wow – they are still together and touring? I’ve never seen Uriah Heep, but I love their straight-ahead, “locomotive-style” heavy sound. It would be cool to see ‘Gypsy’ and ‘Traveler in Time’ live.

Hello Mr. Metal. I want to see Uriah Heep as they are one if the few seminal
groups I have not seen in person. My cousin Jimmy turned me on to them and I
have several live cds and vhs. (yes, vhs.) Also, they are one of the few bands to use keyboards correctly, so this would be a great occasion
to POP one of my few remaining metal cherries.
