The Statement from Tyr:
Unfortunately the highly anticipated “Valor & Folklore” tour of April 2020 will be postponed until further notice due to the travel restrictions issued by the United States government. Tour package Týr, Heidevolk, Trollfest and Metsatöll Official state collectively:
“With a heavy heart we have to postpone the “Valor & Folklore” tour. Needless to say this situation is beyond our control and we respect the decisions being made for your health as well as our health. We are currently looking ahead to reschedule the tour later this year. We hope to see you soon!”

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Sigh. As previously stated, general health is more important to me than anything like seeing a show but this one was one that I was looking forward to. Now it’s time for me to repeat what I just added to the Insomnium tour cancellation news. It’s very important to see what kind of damage this will cause to a band such as the ones involved on this package. These are all bands that have daytime jobs that they do when not on the road and not only are the Visa costs wasted on this go round but also the chance to keep their respective projects funded. We’re not dealing with the massive financials of bands like Iron Maiden and Disturbed here but more or less your regular dude or dudette who scrimp and stockpile financials to bring you the best in Metal entertainment. Here is how you can help if you didn’t see where this was headed. Order their music online via tools like Amazon or support it in your local retailer shop that specializes in such items. Shirts, patches, stickers and more will go a long way in helping these sorts of bands recoup some money. This is a terrible time for people in general but especially for the pursuits that get us through the day.
