PiercingMetal Thoughts: This news excited me because a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert is always the highlight of my year and though I’ve been documenting their music here on the website since launching in 2005, I’ve been a fan since the release of the now bonafide classic “Christmas Eve and Other Stories”. Sadly I missed their debut tour because that was gone in a blink but I’ve managed to catch them perform at least once each and every year since. Their shows leave me with such exhilaration and positivity that it’s hard to line it out for you any better. As the tour doesn’t stop in NYC proper, and with the closure of the Nassau Coliseum, the only regional show for me is at the Prudential Center where I’ve seen them for the last bunch of years. I hope that they do the Barclays Center at some point as well but I’d likely want to attend two of the performances if that happens. Knowing that they will be celebrating the debut album once more is a highlight for me because the release is just so beloved at this point in time and if you’ve not seen the group in action yet then this is the year to do it. Chime in down below with your thoughts on this news and I will see you next time around. Please stay safe out there.
