Hey there my friends, I just wanted to take a moment out of your day to bring you into the creative mix and let you know something that will be happening for the next few days. As previously noted, the PiercingMetal outlet will be in attendance at the Toy Fair for 2025 and its actually starting tomorrow at the Javits Center. It’s the kind of event that we end up taking a lot of photos at which means that in addition to the eventual website postings, a strong number of them will be posted on social media like our Official Instagram. This post serves as a notice to that fact and while its not an original photograph there will be plenty to come as the event happens and I begin to post. I’m hoping to find the kinds of stuff that resonates most with our comic minded geeks and see whatever band presentations might be found. You already know we love KISS here at the Media High Command so if I see that stuff you will as well. I am always excited to be one of the media at this event since its such a big affair and leaves me with a whole lot of visuals.
At the time of this posting I am closing in on our 12Kth post on Instagram and I think that with the upcoming images from this Toy Fair, in addition to any of the concerts that I will be attending in the coming months that this will be celebrated in no time. Let’s see how that manifests. Though I never know what kind of stuff I will be interested in sharing at this point in time from the Toy Fair, I will say that I look forward to showing you all items from McFarlane Toys, Hasbro, NECA, The Loyal Subjects and several more. Many of you also know that over the last few go rounds at Toy Fair I’ve expanded a good chunk of my coverage over on my Piercing Ken brand as well and while I’ve figured out how best to navigate the show, its still rather daunting and exhausting. As the posts start to appear in your feed I ask that you please make sure to like them and maybe even engage with them so I have something to comment back on. The way these socials work its much more than only the followers and I always interact with you on the topical viewpoints. Don’t go off the rails as that stuff just gets zapped because we don’t have time for it I should start wrapping up since I’ve much to do with this one but I can say that I do expect it to be interesting. Remember that since Toy Fair is a trade show that cannot be attended by the general public some of the reveals might be the very first time that you are seeing them.
