Though the New York Comic Con might be over, there is still a lot of geeky awesome to entertain us in terms of the comic series announcements and season premieres of shows like the previously discussed “Batwoman” and the fifth season of “Supergirl” which premieres tonight on The CW Network. I’ve snagged the season poster along with a recap of the fourth and much of the main and guest cast for your consumption. Let’s go.
Season 4 Recap: In the fourth season, Kara deals with a new wave of anti-extraterrestrial prejudice secretly instigated by Lex Luthor from prison, forcing her to fight for the civil and political rights of aliens. Ben Lockwood, a former college professor who suffered a series of personal tragedies at the hands of extraterrestrials, forms a human-first group called the Children of Liberty to end all aliens. Meanwhile, in the nation of Kasnia, a clone of Kara dubbed “Red Daughter” is trained by its military to fight Supergirl at Lex’s request. Kara and Alex rival with the DEO’s new addition, Col. Lauren Haley, who was sent to monitor the DEO’s progress under Alex’s direction. Col. Haley and the President try to force Supergirl to reveal her identity, and clash with her and Alex when she refuses. (c/o Wiki)

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve enjoyed the series for the most part and will be sticking with it despite some of the plot points that I feel aren’t to my liking. I just love Benoist in the role along with a number of the other cast members. For the premiere I will be counting on my DVR since I will have just finished with New York Comic Con adventures by the time it airs and all I will be looking forward to then is some food ans sleep. What about you readers? Are you still tuning in or have you given up on this one? Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time around.
