It was just a little over a month ago where I helped to be one of the many media outlets announcing the plans from the mighty Metallica and their one-night only event for the “72 Seasons” Global Premiere. That was posted HERE ICYMI and now my friends the day has arrived. Let’s look at the promotional poster once again.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Back when I first posted that news I estimated that I wouldn’t be able to attend because of the workaday life and a super overstocked list of to do’s but I hope all who have secured their tickets are ready to enjoy the night surrounded by other Metallica fans. Truth be told I love album listening events but not really in a movie theater setting but that’s just me. If Metallica is holding some kind of party about it and making an appearance we didn’t manage to get on that list so oh well. I am super excited about their new album just the same and admire their continuing domination of the music scene. With our posting this early enough you should still be able to get a ticket if you are interested in attending one of the special premieres. I will be passing as I’ve already said but will definitely be purchasing a copy of the album for a website review piece. Since Best Buy doesn’t sell music anymore I guess I will be heading over to Amazon for it. What about you my friends? Are you hitting this global premiere tonight?
