Tonight: “Legends Of Tomorrow” Season 4 Premiere On The CW Network (10/22/2018)

It was interesting to find The CW Network making us wait so long for all of the superhero shows but now that there are something like six of them, it makes sense to parse them out to not overwhelm the viewers. If you’ve not been paying attention, we’ve already touched upon the premieres of “Supergirl”, “Arrow”, “Black Lightning” and “The Flash” in posts of their own and ALL of these shows exist in the same universe of characters with the only exception being Black Lightning. Let’s take a glance at the cool season poster, the last season recap and some old and new casting.

Season 3 Recap: In season three, the team discover that they created anachronisms throughout time, and Rip has formed the Time Bureau to help fix them. Rip tells the team of the demon Mallus, whose follower Nora Darhk has resurrected her father Damien and Amaya’s granddaughter Kuasa, also recruiting Gorilla Grodd so that they can release Mallus from his prison by perverting history. The team loses both members of Firestorm, but is joined by Zari Tomaz, a hacktivist from 2042 whose air-controlling amulet is connected to Amaya’s totem, and Wally West / Kid Flash, a speedster formerly under the tutelage of the Flash.

Cast and Characters:
Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom
Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Amy Pemberton voices Gideon
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen and Charlie
Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel
Tala Ashe as Zari Tomaz
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash

PiericngMetal Thoughts: As the fourth season begins, I am finding that “Legends” is one of my favorites of the shows that feature the DC Universe and I guess its because we have seen an almost rotating cast of main characters along with enough inferences or appearances of numerous other characters from the printed page. Hopefully we find more mystical characters coming into play now that Constantine is a part of the show. I would simply die if we got Spectre or even The Phantom Stranger. Sometimes they’ve taken license with things I would have hoped to be different like “Legion Of Doom” but they did alright with The Justice Society and Jonah Hex so they are doing more winning moves than losing ones. What about you readers? Are you tuning into this one yet or at all? Chime in down below.
