Since 2013, Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD have defended the world at large from some truly insidious forces of evil. We’ve found them facing off against the likes of Hydra, Project Centipede, Inhumans, Kree, some darker mystical forces and finally the Chronicoms but it all ends with tonight’s epic two-hour series finale. I’ve secured the artwork and where this season has left us but will say no more on the matter. Check your local listings, program your DVR or be prepared to enjoy this over the morning coffee via your cable networks On Demand option.
The Premise: Season seven sees Coulson, now a Life Model Decoy, and his team stranded in 1931 New York City, looking for clues to prevent the Chronicom hunters from establishing Earth as their new home, Chronyca-3, before the Zephyr time-jumps to another point in history.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I won’t lie to you on this one because I am really, really going to miss “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” from the regular run of shows that I’ve followed since the beginning. Sure AOS started out a little rough but I feel that it was because they were trying too hard to tie it into the movies that were coming out and it was just too hard to do that. The first season, despite having a few choice moments and guest-stars was a tough watch but I stuck with it. Season two was incrementally better than the first and by the third I was finding myself hooked. They successfully introduced a number of characters and circumstances that made me feel like I was watching a weekly serial of old. I’ve suggested to many of my fellow geeks who gave up on this early to give it another go and start over and they could thank me later. I will be tuned in to this final mission and thank all of the team for their valiant service for so many years. Thank you Agent Coulson, Mac, Quake, Agent May and the rest. I hope we see you on Disney+ in the future. Were you among the regular viewers of the show? Are you sad that we are losing it? Chime in down below in the comments and remember to leave any final episode spoilers out of the mix because we all cannot watch the very second it airs.
