This is just a quick announcement type post to remind those in the readership that the Brooklyn Independent Comics Showcase is once again returning to Industry City with its 2026 edition. This is a great event to explore and support your local and independent creatives and come away with some amazing creations and to make it all the more enticing, the event is absolutely free. This will run over the course of the weekend in what is called The Box Factory over on 34th Street and its not too far from Japan Village and other assorted quality eating and drinking spots.

The event is sponsored in part by St. Mark’s Comics and you can even pay them a visit and participate in some artist signings that will also be happening. I should also mention that the PiercingMetal High Command has covered this event a few times already and a link to our YouTube videos can be found by clicking HERE. I anticipate going on both of the days and I hope to see a number of familiar faces and also make some new friends in the scene. Let’s get Independent!!!
