It’s been a few months since we’ve learned the casting for the upcoming ABC mini-series “Inhumans” and if you’ve just now found yourself hearing this, please let me recap some important information. Initially, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were anticipating a big-budget full theatrical release for the Inhumans but as the films began to pick up steam, the place for these unique characters was shifted from the big to the smaller screen. We’ve heard the phrase “Inhumans” across a few seasons of “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” over the last couple of years and now the complete Royal Family will be heading to your home with a series of their own. The Premise: After a military coup, the Inhuman Royal Family escape to Hawaii where they must save themselves and the world.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I didn’t think that this looked all that bad but its clearly a television series by the look of it and what I mean is that it has that “Arrow” or “AOS” vibe to its look. I’ve cited how I love the idea of all the Royal Family at long last since I always had a bit of an affinity for the characters over my years of reading the comics. I hope against hope that Black Bolt wears his mask at some point since its an iconic look. I’ll program the DVR for this one and likely binge it all in a couple of days since that has been how I’m watching my series lately. There are just too many shows keeping me occupied at night so if not for the DVR I would miss everything. What did you think of the debut trailer?
