TNT Presents: “Snowpiercer” Official Trailer #2

Some months ago I had shared the first trailer for the upcoming dystopian series “Snowpiercer” (seen HERE) and this was an Action Science Fiction film set in the time where Earth is experiencing a brand-new Ice Age. I never got to see the film but according to some research it was mankind that caused this in the first place and as we continue to live in a now ever evolving and troubling scenario, this doesn’t surprise me. The brand new series is set to air next month on TBS and they’ve just released a second trailer which I am sharing down below along with the premise and ensemble cast. Take a look.

The Premise: Snowpiercer picks up seven years after the world becomes a frozen wasteland and follows the remnants of humanity who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually moving train that circles the globe. The show questions class warfare, social injustice, and the politics of survival.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As nothing had really changed since my last closing, I am going to repeat what I said the last time so here goes. I never managed to get around to seeing the “Snowpiercer” film but those who did have mentioned it was rather good. Perhaps I can catch it on Netflix or one of the other services that I pay for. Based on the trailer, I think I will be programming this since it seems interesting and is definitely a different take on a Science Fiction story. It also has one of my favorite area singers in the cast with Miss Lena Hall who we used to see in a band called The Deafening. I also always love the work that Jennifer Connelly does. What about you readers? Did this second trailer interest you at all? You better decide quick if you are planning on programming it into your DVR before you forget to do so. See you next time.
