The Press Release:
British rockers The Struts have announced their new Remember The Name Tour with dates across the US throughout June and July. All tickets are on sale now via thestruts.com.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of their new EP, Unplugged at EastWest, a live album and video set recorded in partnership with Taylor Guitars. Featuring their hit single “Fallin’ With Me,” the 4-track record also includes covers of Michael Jackson’s “Stranger In Moscow” and Oasis’ “Supersonic,” as well as a long-awaited full-length version of “Pretty Vicious.” Amassing 14M views on a snippet uploaded to TikTok in 2021, the unreleased single has been a viral fan favorite for years. Footage of the EastWest live recordings is also available now via YouTube.
In addition to a new tour and music, Spiller also recently released his collaboration with Fossil Group imprint Misfit, designing a special-edition watch that kicks off the brand’s exclusive new Artist Series designs. The limited-run The Time Is Now boxset includes a modern take on a vintage-inspired pocket watch that can be worn as a traditional wristwatch or on a necklace chain. The piece is limited to only 400 units and can be purchased via misfit.com for US customers and watches.com for European and Asian buyers.
Named from an offhand comment about their unbridled stage presence, The Struts have earned a global reputation as a must-see live act. The group, comprised of lead vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies, was formed in Derby, England in 2012. Bursting onto the scene with their hit single “Could Have Been Me,” they have since released three albums, including collaborations with heavy-hitters like Robbie Williams, Kesha, Tom Morello, and Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott and Phil Collen. The group has also gone on to earn the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s Viral Top 50, appear on shows like The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, garner more than 850M on-demand streams, and sell out shows across the globe. Praised for their onstage swagger and musicianship, they have opened for The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, and Guns N’ Roses, played major festivals like Lollapalooza and Governors Ball, and even headlined their own world-wide tours.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This might surprise you but believe it or not, I’ve not much background in The Struts and quite a few friends of mine who aren’t running around doing similar things to myself, have all done and told me this is a must see band. Like I’ve often mentioned, its not easy to be everywhere and at every single regional show that happens. I will for sure look to participating when they hit my region and do a show at the Rooftop at Pier 17. I like the venue and according to my stats on Setlist.FM I’ve not been there since the Papa Roach show back in 2019. There have been quite a few shows I was interested in attending but once the pandemic had mostly dissipated, absolutely everyone wanted to go to anything which made seeing some stuff very difficult but I digree. Now as far as The Struts go, what should I start listening to? I am calling on the experts in the bands catalog even if its a small one and what are they like in concert? Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time. Please keep safe out there.
