PiercingMetal Thoughts: Well, that’s not really a lot of gigs to get to see the band is it? Hopefully they’ll mark out some additional stops and depending on when or if they do, I’ll either append this post or make a new one. Only time will tell. The band now features Phil Soussan on the bass in place of the late great Jimmy Bain who left us in 2016. So what do you readers think about this former members of Dio united and touring with Dio’s classic repertoire along with new material? Let me know in the comments section below. I’ll poke around for the new album “Heavy Crown” that they’ve recorded and released and try to get a review up here soon enough. After seeing and hearing singer Andrew Freeman on some YouTube clips, I can say that the spirit of Ronnie is with his pipes for sure. Stay tuned for that and until next time I bid you farewell.
