The folks over at the House Of Vans Brooklyn have just announced their free spring and summer concerts for 2018. Let’s take a look at the poster below that lines out all of the shows. I should mention that this season is also the final one for the Brooklyn event space.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So another NYC live music space is counting down the days until they go away for good. That sucks and while I have not been the The House Of Vans ever since it first opened in 2011, I love the vast and varied places that up and coming and larger bands can play a show at. It was just over a week ago that I reported the closure of the B.B. King Blues Club and Grill (which you can read about HERE if you missed it) and I am still coming to terms with that. Webster Hall doesn’t seem to be coming back anytime soon and less and less Rock and Metal shows are being booked at Stage 48. Hopefully I can get to one of these shows and do some reporting on it for you fine readers. What do you folks think about this years lineup and that its the very last year of the events at this space?
