The CW Network: “Supernatural” SDCC 2018 Trailer

Yesterday, the 2018 Comic Con International: San Diego (or SDCC) continued into what appears to have been its busiest of days. Resultant of the offerings, we’ve been loading up the assorted sneak peeks and trailers that have been revealed across the conventions four days. If you’ve missed any of them, just click HERE for the rundown of these narratives. On Saturday, The CW Network unveiled its trailers for the DC Universe and some of its other popular shows such as “Riversale” and “Supernatural”. I’ve saved “Supernatural” to be one of my final postings about The CW Network shows since I am not too up on it. Let’s take a look.

Season 13 Recap: Dean and Sam are left reeling from the loss of so many allies and family members and their new responsibility to ‘raise’ Jack, with Sam willing to give the boy a chance while Dean is immediately concerned due to his heritage. In the other world, Lucifer keeps Mary alive as a hostage to trade for his son when he returns home, but finds himself confronted by the alternate Michael, who has killed his Lucifer and won the war. Although Dean becomes increasingly bitter at their recent losses, he gains a new sense of hope when Jack unintentionally brings Castiel back to life, but things become complicated when Men of Letters Arthur Ketch is revealed to have escaped death through a spell he received from Rowena, Ketch taking Castiel and a weakened Lucifer prisoner after Lucifer escapes back into this world when Michael tries to use his grace to create a portal so that he can conquer the other reality.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ll have to admit that I didn’t even watch this trailer since I’d like to begin binge watching the program at some point in the near future. I’ve never seen a single episode which surprises those friends who follow it religiously. These friends ask me what I am waiting for and since I trust their views on such programming I think that I best get a move on that process. I’ve been pretty behind on a lot of my shows based on a healthy concert adventuring process or “Field Work” as it were and still need to see both “Jessica Jones” and “Luke Cage” second seasons as “Iron Fists” return looms in the months ahead. What about you readers? Have you also been following “Supernatural”? How has it managed to keep your interest for so many seasons? Chime in down below as long as you don’t give away any significant plotlines.
