As I’ve reported in a number of posts that have preceded this one, the PiercingMetal Media Command HQ was once again in attendance at the mega-event known as the New York Comic Con. Click HERE to see all of the posts that preceded this one in a new browser tab. Now with the absence of Toy Fair this year I’ve decided to do some spotlight posts as I saw the means to do so with this year’s NYCC presentations. Here is some of the awesome that was to be found at the Tamashii Nations section. I’ll start with this amazing and gigantic statue of Godzilla.
I actually saw this giant Godzilla at the 2020 Toy Fair and it is still very impressive to me. Another impressive bit of statuary is their Samurai Darth Vader. I don’t know too much about this but it’s pretty damned cool if you ask me. I’m going to have to see if this is an action figure or a model kit because I think I want this.
Then let’s get a good look at this larger-than-life Gundam Mecha. This statue would be the perfect size for the 3/4″ action figures I think.
These figures are about 6″ in scale and I love the “Godzilla” stuff that they have. I think I’m going to need these.
I am also really loving what I see from the Gundam Universe side of the fence. When it comes to action figures and things like this I prefer they be around this size.
Let’s give Godzilla another look from a slightly different angle since its so impressive.
That’s all I have for this brief installment. Like I said, the aim is to offer this coverage up a little differently this year. As PiercingMetal surpassed it’s sixteenth year back in April, the goal is to keep mixing it up. Don’t forget to follow PiercingMetal on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube so you don’t miss a second of the fun. See you next time.
