Presenting The 2nd Critics Choice Super Awards Winners

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced today the winners of the 2nd annual Critics Choice Super Awards, honoring the most popular, fan-obsessed genres across both movies and television, including Superhero, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Horror, and Action.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” led the film winners this year, garnering three awards overall. The film was awarded Best Superhero Movie, while Andrew Garfield took the prize for Best Actor in a Superhero Movie, and Willem Dafoe won Best Villain in a Movie.

Warner Brothers Pictures “The Matrix Resurrections” Official Trailer

It’s been a long time since we’ve visited the world of “The Matrix” and soon enough we shall be heading there again with Neo and his crew thanks to Warner Brothers Pictures. The film will be released in theaters and very likely also on HBO Max this December and now you can enjoy the first trailer for the release down below. I’ve also added in some premise, casting and a little promotional art. Based on the popularity of this franchise, I expect to be doing a few posts to entertain our readership. Enjoy.

Premise: Twenty years after the events of The Matrix Revolutions, Neo lives a seemingly ordinary life under his original identity as Thomas A. Anderson in San Francisco, with a therapist who prescribes him blue pills to counteract the strange and unnatural things he occasionally glimpses. He also meets a woman who appears to be Trinity, but neither of them recognize each other. However, when a new version of Morpheus offers him the red pill and reopens his mind to the world of the Matrix, which has become more secure and dangerous in the years since the Smith infection, Neo joins a group of rebels to fight a new enemy.

Tonight: “Watchmen” Series Premiere on HBO (10/20/2019)

It was just over a month ago when we shared what seemed to be the final trailer for the “Watchmen” show that begins its first season tonight on HBO and if you are still a bit in the dark about it just click HERE to get yourself up to speed. The new series makes its debut on the Premium Cable Channel tonight so if you don’t have it you are out of luck. Time to kiss up to a friend with access on their Roku or sign up via your providers. We’re closing in on the premiere of the HBO Original Series “Watchmen” which is of course a connected story line to the comic book series and film that bore the same name. The fans at San Diego Comic Con got a nice first look at it but now its time to share the first proper Official Trailer. HBO Presents “Watchmen” Official Comic Con Trailer

Thanks to the happenings and reveals from the in progress Comic Con International: San Diego (or SDCC for short); Our Pop Culture side of the fence has been thriving over the last couple of weeks and there is a lot more to come. Earlier today, HBO revealed the first full Official Trailer for their upcoming dramatic series “Watchmen” which is a continuation of the story that transpired in the film of the same name.
