Behemoth Announces North American “Ecclesia Diabolica America” 2018 Tour

I had to say that it was feeling like a pretty slow news day but then like a crack of thunder, the darkness hit the skies above us and the Earth nearly skipped off its axis (speaking figuratively of course) as the announcement about Behemoth’s return to the US territory for a headlining run known as “Ecclesia Diabolica America 2018”. Read on to the full press release and tour dates. I’ll close up with additional editorial.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Did I already say “Oh HELL YES” about this one? I think that it was my opening line and well, need I say anything more? I don’t think so but if you need another line or two let me just stress at how perfect this tour package is. With support coming from the legendary At The Gates along with a still growing Metal phenomena like WITTR fans will be advised to get there as early as possible to not miss a single crushing note. Thinking on Behemoth for a moment, this is a band that I have been fortunate to watch climb the ranks slowly but meticulously and now they are perhaps one of the best presenters of Blackened Death Metal. Imposing in melody and in stature, one does not leave a Behemoth show unscarred and unaffected. It’s truly something that fans talk about for weeks and months. Their recent appearance on the final go-round of Slayer was something to be witnessed but since they went on second, it was barely a taste of what they could accomplish on the stage. November cannot get here fast enough and to be honest, part of me is saying this based on it being about 90 degrees outside in NYC. Perhaps the environment is catching some extra heat from the region way, way, way……down below. Let me know what you think of this one in the comments section. See you next time.
