Welcome back my friends, it’s good to have you here with me as I continue to share my findings from the annual New York Comic Con for 2023. The event actually ended yesterday and now its time to share each and every photograph that was done over the four day affair. The mission plan is steady as she goes and I will pick up from where I left off as we are still on the Day One visuals. PiercingMetal was in attendance at the 2022 New York Comic Con at the Javits Center and during the exploration did a series of one on one chats with the creative people we met. All of the videos are presented on our Official YouTube Channel and this post brings several of them together in one place to add to the overall coverage as featured on the website.
Greetings my fellow geeks and welcome back to my continued presentations from the 2022 edition of the New York Comic Con. I’m starting on the Day Two stuff now and since three installments like this precede this post along with a wealth of exhibitor posts, you are going to want to click HERE to see everything in the order that it was posted. As I’ve said in the earlier posts, we suggest that you start at the beginning because it gives you a proper idea about the event if you are from far away. It also gives us extra time on site in our statistics and Google loves that stuff. As you’ve seen already and on numerous NYCC posts over the years, I like to focus on the fans/cosplayers who drop good money on attending. The ReedPOP folks always remind their press outlets that they are fan first and I like to help that along by showcasing the hard work like this awesome Gem.

Announced earlier today at ComicsPRO in Portland, Oregon, Marvel Comics will be putting the final chapter of the Skywalker saga to the page in a comics adaptation of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Writer Jody Houser (Star Wars: TIE Fighter) and artist Will Sliney (Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren) will be teaming up to retell this epic story in STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER ADAPTATION #1. In addition to the shocking twists and turns that were present in the film, the five-issue limited series will also have brand-new story material for readers to enjoy!

PiercingMetal Thoughts: While I realize that this final installment in “The Skywalker Saga” left a lot of fans for want, I have to admit that I really enjoyed it. I felt it was a proper closing to a group of characters that were as much as part of my childood as my adulthood and kept my geek interests fed properly. Now as far as the comic book adaptations of these films, I’ve not purchased any of these for myself since “Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi” and nowadays I will just grab a collected edition of the mini-series since that is where I am on them. Maybe I will snag this one just the same but June is a bit of a ways away and there is no sense in deciding right now. I’ve got a lot of Toy Fair items to finish up so will end this particular announcement with the question of “what do you think about this news?” Are you planning on purchasing and for that matter, did you enjoy the film?
