I had a LOT of fun at this years NY Comic Con and went all four days to absorb the sights, the scenes and the colorful cosplayers. You can check out some of the stuff from the four days over on our Official Instagram if you are a fan of the medium. During the convention there was a big push by DC Entertainment for their launch of the “DC Universe” streaming service. I had see the trailer for “Titans” which was their first series to come but missed this introduction to the upcoming “Harley Quinn” animated series. Let’s take a look now shall we.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I have to say that the DC Universe animated movies are miles ahead of anything that they have released on the big screen that feature some of our favorite superheroes. Of course as a faithful comics fan to canon, I get a little rant going when too many liberties are taken. This trailer looks great but I did have one qualm as a reader of the original issues as they played out. When Doomsday fought the Justice League, he did so while half secured in the suit you see him in. He only had one arm free and he pretty much wiped out the League. It was a testament to the creatures unbridled power that he could and did beat the Justice League as a whole with one arm tied behind his back. Anyway, that’s just me bitching and moaning. The plot of this one is pretty self-explanatory because in the comics Superman did die. It will be interesting to see this scene played out in an animated film. What do you think of this trailer? Chime in down below.
