Nightwish Reveals “My Walden” Live Video Clip

nightwish logo

In a couple of months, the Finnish Metal sensation known as Nightwish will be releasing an amazing double live concert video care of the Nuclear Blast Records label. The film is called “Vehicle Of Spirit” and will be the first live recordings done with the great Floor Jansen as their lead vocalist. The video was captured during the bands “Endless Forms Most Beautiful” World Tour. Recently the label released another clip from this sure to be exciting release and you can watch it down below.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: “My Walden” is a solid tune from the bands most recent album and one of its prominent features are the pipes of Troy Donockley as they help take the band into different musical worlds. Though I am not sure how to convince someone new about the band outside of saying that this clip firms up the belief that one must see them live in concert to get the proper effect, it is a solid enough tune to find you clicking the “replay” button on YouTube. In addition to Floor Jansen being a standout singer after a number of years in service, also doing a righteous job is drummer Kai Hahto who we get to see from a number of angles during the clip. I am still waiting for my video to arrive from Amazon.com and honestly cannot wait to sit and watch this with the volume turned up really high. You should be planning on doing something similar. If you liked this clip you should tell me how much down in the comments section.

Nightwish Reveals “Alpenglow” Live Video Clip

In a couple of months, the Finnish Metal sensation known as Nightwish will be releasing an amazing double live concert video care of the Nuclear Blast Records label. The film is called “Vehicle Of Spirit” and will be the first live recordings done with the great Floor Jansen as their lead vocalist. The video was captured during the bands “Endless Forms Most Beautiful” World Tour. Aren’t we fortunate that a second clip was shared from this exciting release. Watch it below and oh yeah, this clip also comes from Wembley Arena just like the previously featured “Shudder Before The Beautiful” clip that we shared not too long ago.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: You’ve probably realized that I copied almost ALL of my description from the other video clip but that was more for a sense of consistency than anything else. So what to do in terms of “review” for another live video? Well, let me keep this one simple and say what I loved about the song “Alpenglow” in the first place. The song brings out a sense of positivity to me that is only fully experienced during a Nightwish live concert. There is something that makes me feel so very good when I watch them and this conveys well in the clip. We get all of the members in full view and some close-ups which is nice and we even find Troy Donockly adding some additional guitar to the song. Not that Emppu needs any help, but it adds to the “bigness” of the Nightwish sound. Oh yeah and everyone is smiling at their crowd and trust me that just makes the energy all the stronger. I am counting down for this one which streets in the USA in early January.

Nightwish Reveals “Shudder Before The Beautiful” Live Video Clip

In a couple of months, the Finnish Metal sensation known as Nightwish will be releasing an amazing double live concert video care of the Nuclear Blast Records label. The film is called “Vehicle Of Spirit” and will be the first live recordings done with the great Floor Jansen as their lead vocalist. The video was captured during the bands “Endless Forms Most Beautiful” World Tour. Recently the label released the first clip from this sure to be exciting release and you can watch it down below.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Having seen Nightwish in concert for many years since they first arrived on the US shores, I can safely say to the readership that this looks like it’s going to be a great film to rock out to in the comfort of your own home. While its hard to actually “review” a live clip, I can attest that the band looks energized and works together well. Nightwish are a finely tuned machine at this point and the camera angles make sure to focus on everyone from Floor to Tuomas to Emppu to Marco to Kai and all o them appear to be having a fantastic time. I cannot imagine them having anything less considering this was filmed in front of a sold out Wembley Stadium. I cannot wait until December to get my copy and let’s hope that additional clips are released before then. If they are I will be sure to share with you here and give a quick bit of opinion.
