This September, we pay homage to the many faces of Marvel, with a stunning yet scary lineup of ‘Immortal’ variants! See an array of characters merge into an alter self, all modeled after Bruce Banner’s transformation from the pages of “IMMORTAL HULK!” Peek at a select few now, and stay tuned for more updates and order information! (PS, as new reveals come to light I will be adding them to this same post for ease of enjoyment and finding them at the local comic book shop).
While the film “Spider-Man: Homecoming” is opening up in a few short days, the time is now to celebrate the November release of “Thor: Ragnarok” with the reveal of some images of Hasbro’s latest line of Marvel Legends Series action figures. Each of these fully-articulated figures contains a piece of the Incredible Hulk who is this series “Build-A-Figure”. I won’t be talking much across this one since there isn’t much need. I will say that there are a couple of inclusions from the comic books in addition to the upcoming film. Let’s look at them.
Valkryrie are a traditional sounding Metal act with a touch of Doom to the mix and they’ll bring it on in Brooklyn tonight. This event is 21+ to attend with proper ID.

The cooler temperatures had finally begun to show their face in our neck of the woods and 2015 was getting closer to ending and for many it couldn’t come fast enough. I was very excited for the promise of a shiny New Year and all its concerts, good times and special musical memories. It was great that Clutch had decided to perform here in NYC as they had usually set their sights on NJ with Starland Ballroom for these end of year shows but in all honesty that venue doesn’t fit as many people as this place does. I decided to start my evening’s adventure at the American Retro Bar & Grill which is located on 51st street and 11th Avenue. It’s a short walk back to the venue and a good place to pre-game before shows here and at Stage 48 if you needed a suggestion. In the past I’ve found members of Dark Tranquility stopping in here to eat and even an out of costume Papa Emeritus II according to friends who saw a mysterious figure look inside while I wasn’t paying attention. Tonight amused me at the space for while I dined I wondered the set times and in walked Crobot for some supper. Clearly I had a little time before their set and they suggested that I give the lead band Valkyrie a chance. This was of course part of my night’s plan. Clutch will help close out 2015 with their “Psychic Warfare Tour” as it lands in NYC. If you’ve never seen them before you want to rectify that with their appearance at T5. Crobot and Valkyrie will support these holiday shows.
