When I think back to the first “Nobody” film, I have to admit that I felt a little surprise at actor Bob Odenkirk being an action star. I didn’t end up seeing it during the theatrical run and waited until it was on streaming and had to say that I quite enjoyed it. Now even this film has a sequel and Universal Pictures recently dropped the trailer that I am sharing down below along with some light premise and the casting. Check it out.
The Premise: Suburban dad Hutch Mansell, a former lethal assassin, is pulled back into his violent past after thwarting a home invasion, setting off a chain of events that unravels secrets about his wife Becca’s past and his own. While I had expected that the whole “Jurassic” franchise had ended with “Jurassic World Dominion”, it turns out that the film was only actually the final film in the second trilogy of films. Now, a brand-new cast of players heads to parts unknown for some mysterious missions. Will they win out over potentially dangerous dinosaurs? Well, some of them might while others will end up being part of the dinner service. The first Official Trailer has dropped and is below for you to enjoy. There was also a lengthy plot summary to share and some casting but no other artwork just yet. Dig in.
Plot Summary: Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, Earth’s environment has largely proven inhospitable to dinosaurs. The surviving creatures now reside in remote, tropical locales, reminiscent of the environments where they once flourished. Zora Bennett, a covert operative, is recruited by a pharmaceutical company to collaborate with paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis and team leader Duncan Kincaid on a top-secret mission. Their objective is to infiltrate a forbidden island—once the site of the original research facility for Jurassic Park—and locate the three largest prehistoric species from land, sea, and air. The DNA of these creatures holds the key to a revolutionary drug capable of saving countless human lives. Along the way, the team encounters a civilian family, and both groups find themselves stranded. They discover that the island is home to mutated, failed dinosaur experiments that have thrived in isolation for decades. It wasn’t too long ago that we shared the news about the upcoming Supernatural Horror film from Universal Pictures called “The Last Voyage Of The Demeter”. I had presented the Official Trailer (HERE) and found it interesting that the film originally stems from a single chapter in the original “Dracula” novel. This film opens today in theaters around the country. Down below you’ll see the poster, a premise reminder and casting.
The Plot: Strange and horrifying events befall the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage from Transylvania to London, stalked each night by a merciless presence onboard the ship: a legendary vampire known as Dracula. When the Demeter finally arrives off the shores of England, it is a charred, derelict wreck. There is no trace of the crew. It was only a few short months ago when I discussed the Universal Pictures release “Violent Night” with the Official Trailer (seen HERE ICYMI) and today the film is out for all to enjoy for the upcoming holiday season. Of course that’s only if your holiday season includes Santa Claus kicking some major villain behind when they try to ruin Christmas. When I discussed the trailer I pointed out how fun it looked and so we rally behind this one in our growing Pop Culture section. Take a look at the Official Release poster along with a light premise and the casting down below and I will meet you at the end.
