Nightwish Postpones 2020 Tour and Reveals Dates For 2021

In the past, a Monday always generally started with some tour announcements so let’s start ours with some 50/50 news from the Symphonic Sensations of Nightwish. The band recently announced the cancellation of all 2020 tour dates for North America but at the same time have revealed some rescheduled ones. Let’s look.

The Band Statement:
Due to the current situation surrounding covid-19 in North America we are forced to postpone our shows.

The Cancelled Tour Dates:
September 8 – Canada – Toronto – Meridian Hall
September 11 – US – Los Angeles – The Hollywood Palladium
September 12 – US – Los Angeles – The Hollywood Palladium
September 15 – US – New York- Terminal Five

Nightwish Announce “World Land Trust” Partnership

The Press Release:
Recently, Finnish sextet NIGHTWISH announced their ninth record HUMAN. :II: NATURE. (psst, I posted that news HERE), that will be released on April 10, 2020 and will be a double album containing 9 tracks on the main CD and one long track, divided into eight chapters on CD 2. Today, NIGHTWISH announce their partnership with the international conservation charity organization called ‘World Land Trust’. Nuclear Blast Presents: Nightwish “Harvest” Official Lyric Video

When we last discussed the Finnish sensation known as Nighwish, it was to reveal their very brief US tour dates (seen HERE) which was done not long after our overview of their debut single and video “Noise” (seen HERE) from their upcoming album “Human Nature”. The song is called “Harvest” and is a lyric video as opposed to a regular one but let’s have a look at it down below.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Much like my posts about “teaser trailers”, I don’t really feel there is much to say about lyric videos. I will save my song thoughts for a proper single review which I will attend to shortly for good measure. I did find the presented scenes behind the song to be very nice though and think that most of you will enjoy them. Stay tuned for the song narrative, see you then.

Nightwish Announces Select North American Tour Dates

The Finnish Symphonic Metal sensation known as Nightwish has been in the news recently with their recently released single and video for the song “Noise” which is the first new music that we have gotten from the band in a few years. We discussed the clip in full HERE and encourage you to review our thoughts on it. Now, with a new record looming comes also the news of some touring.
