For the last few weeks it’s been a constant vibe of anticipation as to when the first look at “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was going to surface and expand Spider-Man’s presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony Pictures really had us chomping at the bit while Marvel Studios delivered new trailers for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings” and “Eternals” but now the moment has arrived and there is a teaser trailer to enjoy below. I’ve even included the premise and casting but there wasn’t any poster art to share yet. That will come in time I guess.
The Premise: Following the events of “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, in which his identity was exposed at the hands of Mysterio, Peter Parker’s life and his reputation is turned upside down. Seeking help from Doctor Strange to try and fix everything, things soon become much more dangerous and Parker must find what it really means to be Spider-Man. It’s without question that Marvel Studios has been continually delivering the goods when it comes to the superhero content on the big and small screens. When we last discussed the “Eternals” film (seen HERE) the “Loki” Disney+ series was set to begin and that one left us with the scenarios being enjoyed in the recently premiered “What If”. We also saw an Official Trailer for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings” (seen HERE) but now it’s onto the subject at hand which is the Final Trailer for the “Eternals” film. As is our practice, the scenario, casting and some poster art are included for good measure. Enjoy.
After an unexpected tragedy following the events of Avengers: Endgame, the Eternals—an immortal alien race created by the Celestials who have secretly lived on Earth for over 7,000 years—reunite to protect humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants. The Netflix Original Series “Lucifer” is returning for its sixth and final season in the coming weeks and fans of the show have been glued to its continuing on after being cancelled by Fox after season three. More about the show is below the Official Trailer, and I’ve included some casting along with what I imagine will be the Final Poster. Take a look.
The Plot: The series focuses on Lucifer Morningstar, a handsome and powerful angel who was cast out of Heaven for his rebellion. As the Devil, Lucifer tires of the millennia he spent being the Lord of Hell, punishing people. Becoming increasingly bored and unhappy with his life in Hell, he abdicates his throne in defiance of his father (God) and abandons his kingdom for Los Angeles, where he runs his own nightclub called Lux. When he finds himself involved in a murder investigation, he meets the intriguing Detective Chloe Decker. After helping the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) solve the case by using his power to manipulate humans into revealing their deepest desires, Lucifer accepts a subsequent invitation to work with Chloe as a consultant to the department, and throughout the series, they encounter all sorts of supernatural beings while solving crimes together and developing their relationship. When we first discussed the topic of the continuation of the “Ghostbusters” franchise with “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” it was way back in December of 2019 (as seen HERE). At the time we were getting ready to welcome what was sure to be a bountiful year of to do in 2020. Then 2020 began and while it started out alright by March was an international disaster based on the global pandemic. Now as the world slowly rises to more sense of normal, a second Official Trailer has been revealed and we we prepare to enjoy it I ask you all once more “Who you gonna call?”
The Premise: A single mother and her two children move to Oklahoma after inheriting property from a previously unknown relative. They discover their family’s legacy to the original Ghostbusters, who have become something of a myth as many have long-since forgotten the events of the “Manhattan Crossrip of 1984”.
