The Official Statement:
To our fans: Unfortunately, Steven’s vocal injury is more serious than initially thought. His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care.

He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential. As a result, all the currently scheduled PEACE OUT shows must be postponed to sometime in 2024, with new dates to be announced as soon as we know more.

Update: Though the world is slowly returning to some kind of a normal sense, big events like the massive “The Stadium Tour” with Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts are not so easily modified. That said, a short time ago, Motley Crue updated their legions of fans via their Official Facebook Page and we have embedded this for your perusal.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Truth be told, announcements about massive endeavors like this one being pushed back another year do not surprise me at all. Let’s face it…though many of us have been vaccinated there are many who haven’t and refuse to. Many places are still requiring a mask to enter the premises even though its been viewed that if you are vaxxed you don’t have to wear a mask in public. It’s a slippery slope and I think many are fearing lawsuits and to be completely honest there is no way I am ready to be surrounded by thousands of people at a Rock concert just yet. I’d like to see this when its deemed safe to be able to do so and as I close this one up I wonder what you think of the news. Were you planning on doing this one or were you sitting it out based on the conditions? Chime in down below in the comments and I will see you next time. Keep safe out there and I will see you again soon.
