PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m not going to lie and say that I’m not excited to find Gene Simmons and his band doing North American tour dates and while this recent announcement only features five shows I have to believe that more will be added as they get closer to actually happening. Maybe these are dates that are testing the waters as far as demand for the tickets and from other venues on the booking agents list. When I posted about the European tour I mused how Gene’s shows would likely feature a wealth of KISS Classics and after checking Setlist.FM I’ve seen that a twelve song set features eight KISS tunes. I mean I’m not arguing because when Ace Frehley does his shows he is doing pretty much the same thing and he hasn’t been in KISS in quite some time. I’ll watch for more information on this topic and if more dates come I will either add them here or just post an updated bit of news. As we’re all about feeding you content the more is quite honestly the merrier in terms of posts. Chime in down below if you are so inclined and especially if you’re a KISS fan and notice that Gene will be in your locality. I remain hopeful for NYC dates. See you next time.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As much as I hate to admit this, I was completely unaware of the existence of this group but was happy to learn more and listen as well as I sought out things with a holiday vibe to them for the upcoming season. As a very longtime attendee of the incredible Trans-Siberian Orchestra its always cool to learn that former members have joined up with assorted other musicians to keep that sort of sound growing into new branches of the musical Christmas Tree. Now, with Christmas Trees in mind, its highly unlikely that I will be able to attend either of the two regional performances based on the annual “Christmas Tree Pilgrimage” that I do around that time for my Piercing Ken YouTube Channel. They do sound interesting and I’m going to look more into their vibe going forward and see what kind of media support I might be able to drum up. What do you holiday music craving readers think about these three limited dates? Will you be looking into any of them? Were you already listening to the sound of the Bell Ringer? Let me know down in the comments below. See you next time. Hoping you are getting ready for the rapidly approaching Thanksgiving Feast. Ciao.
