Due to the sudden and unexpected resignation of Twisted Sister’s lead singer Dee Snider brought on by a series of health challenges, the band has been forced to cancel all shows scheduled, beginning April 25th in Sao Paulo Brazil and continuing through the summer.

Steve Miller Band Cancels Full US Tour

It was just a little more than two months ago when the legendary Steve Miller Band had announced a rather lengthy US tour with more dates to be added to the mix based on demand (seen HERE). Earlier this evening, the SMB has cancelled this whole tour in full with no rescheduled dates to make note of. Their statement was posted to Facebook and is shared along with the affected dates.

Dear Steve Miller Band fans, You make music with your instincts. You live your life by your instincts. Always trust your instincts… The Steve Miller Band has cancelled all of our upcoming tour dates. The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires make these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable. So… You can blame it on the weather… The tour is cancelled. Don’t know where, don’t know when… We hope to see you all again. Wishing you all Peace, Love and Happiness, Please take care of each other. Billy Joel Cancels All Upcoming Concert Dates

The Statement:
Concert Dates Cancelled – Billy Joel has announced that he will be cancelling all scheduled concerts following a recent diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance. Under his doctor’s instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period. Billy is thankful for the excellent care he is receiving and is fully committed to prioritizing his health. He is grateful for the support from fans during this time and looks forward to the day when he can once again take the stage.

“I’m sincerely sorry to disappoint our audience, and thank you for understanding,” said Billy Joel.

Jane’s Addiction Announces Cancellation of Remaining North American Tour Dates and Hiatus

By now I’m sure that most of you have seen the myriad of video captures that showed Jane’s Addiction lead singer Perry Farrell getting into a physical altercation with guitarist Dave Navarro right in the middle of a song. Just a short time ago the band released a statement regarding the cancellation of their remaining tour dates and a brief hiatus.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Cancel All Remaining September Shows

The Statement:
Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band have postponed all performances currently scheduled for September 2023, beginning with tomorrow’s show scheduled for the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, N.Y. Mr. Springsteen is being treated for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease and the decision of his medical advisors is that he should postpone the remainder of his September shows.

Springsteen made the following comment:

“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows. First, apologies to our fabulous Philly fans who we missed a few weeks ago. We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ve been having a blast at our U.S. shows and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon.
