Paramount Pictures has delivered the first Official Teaser for their 2023 release “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” and you can check that out down below. At the time of this trailer reveal, there is NO premise or promotional artwork to enjoy and that makes sense with the film being more than a year away from opening. Check out some scenes from what is to come.

The Premise: There is no premise listed yet but this is the 7th film in the “Mission: Impossible” series of action-suspense films.

Hey my action-adventure loving cinephiles, I am back once more to share some stuff from the upcoming Paramount Pictures release “Mission: Impossible – Fallout”. As a lot of you know by now, PiercingMetal, while a place to learn about the most amazing Metal and Hard Rock, is also entrenched in the entertainment scene with more posts about comics, toys and films such as this one. It’s pretty amazing to find the “Mission: Impossible” franchise hitting its 6th film and while I generally enjoy this sort of movie, it’s one franchise that I never managed to keep up with. I am not sure how that ended up happening at the onset after the first film in 1996 but here we are. The first trailer for the upcoming Paramount Pictures feature is presented for your approval so check it out and know that I will return at the close with some other thoughts.

Opening: “The Mummy” in Theaters Everywhere (6/9/2017)

As discussed and presented on a couple of trailer posts already, there is a brand new Mummy film to enjoy and it is opening today at theaters across the country. This ancient evil will go head to head against Tom Cruise and be the first film in a series of connected films by Universal Pictures under the branding of “Dark Universe”. I’ve posted the theatrical poster below with some reminder of premise and cast.

About The Film:
The Mummy is an upcoming American action-adventure horror film directed by Alex Kurtzman and written by Jon Spaihts. It is a reboot of The Mummy franchise and the first installment in the Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe. The film stars Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Universal Reveals “Dark Universe” Monster Movie Details

I’m a few days behind in the news based on a battery of things that had to post on the website straight away but below you can check out all the necessary scoop on the building in progress of “Dark Universe”. Check out the full press release and then I’ll close out with some editorial.

The Press Release:
Universal Pictures announced today that its series of films reviving the studio’s classic monster characters for a new generation will be known as “Dark Universe.” The motion logo for the new initiative features a musical theme composed by Danny Elfman and will debut in theaters preceding The Mummy, which will be released on June 9. The announcement includes details of the enterprise relaunching Universal’s iconic characters into modern cinema, as well as confirmations of superstar cast and that Academy Award® winner Bill Condon will direct Bride of Frankenstein.

Dark Universe was begun by core creatives Alex Kurtzman, who also serves as director and producer of The Mummy, the inaugural film in the new classic monster series, and The Mummy producer Chris Morgan, who recently saw The Fate of the Furious, the sixth film he wrote for the Fast & Furious franchise, claim the biggest opening in history at the global box office when it opened on April 14. Also joining the enterprise to inspire and entertain a new generation are such visionary talents as Oscar winner® Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible series, The Usual Suspects) and David Koepp (War of the Worlds, Jurassic Park).
