The CW Network: “Crisis On Infinite Earths” Extended Trailer

crisis on infinite earths tv logo

As a fan of the series of DC Comics superhero shows that air each and every week on The CW Entertainment network, one of the highlights is the crossover that brings these characters together for a unified cause. Some of the highlight crossovers for me was the “Crisis On Earth X” one and of course last year’s “Elseworlds” and now its time for the seeds that were planted in them to manifest in “Crisis On Infinite Earths”. The extended trailer was just revealed and the adventures begin this coming Sunday, December 8th. Take a look.

About The Crossover: “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is the upcoming sixth annual Arrowverse crossover event, featuring episodes of the live-action television series Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow on The CW. The Supergirl, Batwoman, and The Flash episodes will air in December 2019, while the Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow episodes will air in January 2020. Additionally, events in the Black Lightning episode “The Book of Resistance: Chapter Four: Earth Crisis”, airing between Batwoman and The Flash, will also tie-in to the crossover. A two-issue comic will also tie into the crossover, featuring characters and concepts not able to appear in the live-action episodes.

Season 4 Recap: In the months since Barry left, Wally and Cisco have barely been able to protect Central City. When a new foe defeats them easily, requesting a battle against the Flash, the team decides to bring Barry back. While they manage to do so, Barry’s return releases dark matter, turning a dozen people on a city bus into metahumans. One of these metahumans is private detective Ralph Dibny, who joins the Flash’s team. While Barry and Iris prepare for their wedding, the team realize that Barry’s arrival and the creation of the bus metahumans were orchestrated by the Thinker. Following the Thinker’s defeat, the team is approached by Barry and Iris’ daughter from the future, Nora West-Allen, who claims to have made “a big, big mistake”. (c/o Wiki)

The CW Network: “The Flash” SDCC 2018 Trailer

The 2018 Comic Con International: San Diego (or SDCC) will end today, Sunday the 22nd. We’ve been loading up the assorted sneak peeks and trailers that have been revealed across the conventions four days. If you’ve missed any of them, just click HERE for the rundown of these narratives. Yesterday, The CW Network unveiled its trailers for the DC Universe of shows and I’ve loaded them in to run across the day. Let’s continue with “The Flash”, the show that began as an offshoot of “Arrow” and now has had a pretty solid “RUN” itself (terrible pun I know).

Season 4 Recap: In the months since Barry left, Wally and Cisco have barely been able to protect Central City. We’ve recently received a trailer for the epic event, and its presented below for your enjoyment. Then I repeated the overall premise and characters you will see over the four shows.

The Premise: Barry Allen and Iris West’s friends come to Central City for their wedding, only for the event to be disrupted by Nazi invaders from the parallel world Earth-X, including fascist doppelgängers of Barry’s allies Oliver Queen and Kara Danvers and enemy Eobard Thawne, who come to Earth-1 with a deadly agenda. In addition, the superheroes from Earth-X, including Citizen Cold (a doppelgänger of Leonard Snart) and The Ray, also arrive to help Barry and his friends to stop them. (thanks Wiki)

Prometheus-X, the Earth-X version of Prometheus, will appear in the episodes

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I felt that I said my peace when I showcased the poster in September, but I will repeat it once more for good measure “Last year’s “Invasion” story line was pretty good but I will have to say that I am super interested in this one since I know that Earth-X is the world in the Multiverse for the Freedom Fighters who I always enjoyed in the comics. Despite their very limited run of a series. I’ll cross my fingers that we get Uncle Sam somewhere in this or Human Bomb at least. Good characters that would make for interesting crossovers on this and future episodes. I still watch all four of the shows and am curious to see how Black Lightning will do when it makes its premiere”. What about you readers? Are you enjoying these programs and does this new crossover event pique your interest a little more after the trailer??? Let me know down below.
