You can enjoy the trailer down below and also see some premise, casting and art before I offer up my own editorial viewpoints. Dig in.

I’ve long admired the skills that so many of the Cosplayers that I’ve encountered at the New York Comic Con and other conventions showcase to the world with their awesome representations of great heroes and villains. Now it seems like the folks over at the House Of Ideas are revisiting their “Cosplay Variant Covers” initiative and giving us “14” new covers and characters. Let’s take a look at the full press release and these awesome images.
The Press Release:
Cosplay is taking over again this fall! Following last year’s wildly successful round of variant covers, Marvel is excited to bring an entirely new wave of MARVEL: COSPLAY VARIANTS to select comics throughout September and October! Featuring new costumes, new cosplayers, and new characters – these mighty Marvel fans are brining your favorite super heroes to life across nearly 15 different titles!
“The response to our first set of COSPLAY VARIANTS was so incredible, we simply had to do a second wave,” says Axel Alonso, Marvel Editor-in-Chief. “And, of course, we were able to find a great crop of cosplayers with some truly fantastic costumes. We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on an ever-growing community that continues to show love for us and our characters.”

Hey there readers I’m back again with some more comic book first issues and its Marvel Comics turn with this one. Truth be told, and I am sure that I have said this on many occasions already, I am a diehard of the Marvel side of the superhero fence in terms of overall preference and damned proud to say it. Based on what is heading our way this month I might have to coin the phrase “May Is For Marvel” as not only do we get a nice crop of first issues in addition to the currently running titles but there is also a “Star Wars” focused bunch of “True Believers” titles as well. I’ll have a post going live tomorrow about those but for now check out the provided press copy and covers of this month’s Marvel first go rounds.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: STEVE ROGERS #1: He’s back! The original Sentinel of Liberty returns, with a new shield, a new team, and a new mission! And he’s not the only one who’s back! Like the saying goes– cut off one LIMB, two more will take its place! HAIL HYDRA!
