The fine folks over at Meta, the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram have recently announced the launch of a brand-new social media application to keep up with. Introducing “Threads from Instagram” which at first glance seems to have the familiar vibe of what Twitter used to have when it first launched. You can create an account right from your existing Instagram profile and the good part is that it uses the same exact handle. Ours remains “PiercingMetalNYC” since the proper branding has been the victim of a squatter for more than a decade. You’ll have to click the link to get to our Threads profile since you cannot properly embed such things at this time.
