The Scoop: So I didn’t get any kind of “official press release” about this and had to cull the dates from some of those providers that had and with this being the case, the introduction copy is off the top of my head. As you can see below, the band Ghost will be heading out on what amounts to be a a couple of months tour under the banner “Haze Over North America”. It’s likely a call to their revealed single “Secular Haze” which we reviewed not long ago on a link you can find HERE. The groups upcoming album is called “Infestissumam” (which I have no idea what that means) and they are no longer fronted by Papa Emeritus I. He was replaced in a live concert ceremony by Papa Emeritus II. Interesting stuff right? I like to think so. Anyway, here are the run of dates. Are you invading a venue near you? Get those calendars out.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So I still haven’t caught Ghost in concert and am saddened at the notion that I missed out on seeing the glory that must have been Papa Emeritus I while he reigned over the masses in sinister form delivering sermons found on “Opus Eponymous” but what can you do, the only constant is change as my father always says. That being said, I love what I’ve heard Papa II doing and I feel that the group is in good hands for the future and beyond. The dates show them in my Metal Metropolis close to the time of my own birthday (not the websites) so I am going to try to be on point and offering up a story for you all to be there with us. What do you folks think about this tour news? Are you already supporting the group? Fill us in on what is to be expected since you know more than I do at the moment. Thanks for listening.
