Toy Fair 2020 Takes Over The PiercingMetal Instagram

trade show logos, toy fair, toy fair 2020 logo, toy association,

Greetings my friends, so as previously mentioned I am in attendance at the massive trade show known as Toy Fair and believe it or not I have been sharing the amazing toy industry reveals at this trade show for ten years now. I won’t expand too much on this here but I am rather excited because this attendance milestone is just ahead of the websites 15th Anniversary and am stoked to have been bringing you entertainment for that long. The game is very different in today’s scene and that is why I am doing this post to announce that said Toy Fair will be taking over the Official Instagram for PiercingMetal. No, I am not letting vendors and assorted exhibitors have a go at posting on the platform and I am instead meaning that the finds and the things that I feel are in line with what the Metalheads and the Comic Book Geeks like the most. I remember when I first started attending the New York Comic Con, you would find an occasional Heavy Metal themed comic book and a small amount of related toys but now there are so many. As a diehard KISS fan I will be looking for anything that is representative of the Hottest Band In The World and of course things like Iron Maiden and maybe even Ghost. Giant Monster stuff like Godzilla and pretty much anything superhero for sure. If you like toys and related games then you will want to be over on the profile as a Follower and begin clicking that little heart to show us that you liked the visual. While you wait I also encourage you to scroll backward in history and lend the always necessary love to our older content. Platforms like Instagram count the actual engagement as important as follows and when I don’t see that kind of response to posts I don’t think you like it and might do it less but that is a decision for another day. Down below is my first posted visual from Toy Fair 2020 I hope we can count on you.

PiercingMetal Celebrates 5th Anniversary On Instagram

Greetings my Metal and Geek-minded friends, I just wanted to take a minute out of the regularly scheduled presentations to let you know that as of the other day, the PiercingMetal branding has been using the Instagram photo-sharing social media platform for five years. It’s been a relatively cool ride so far and given me a place to let loose with more photography from the assorted conventions and of course some mind-crushing Metal shows and more. I began using this network for “The Chronicles” website first and then adopted it for PiercingMetal and as you might recall got stuck with the username of “PiercingMetalNYC” as opposed to the standard PiercingMetal. That ID is being squatted on for some reason and does not respond to inquiries about my taking it over. Too bad as I would have sent that party a bunch of CD’s for their trouble. At first I thought I might have used a different email address to sign up but nothing comes back to me on “reset password” which means someone else has it. There are no photos, no following or followers so its just being squatted on which does suck since its my trademarked brand. If I can offer any advise to those doing similar stuff to myself, make sure you have your own distinct brand identity on all the networks even if you barely plan on using them since it protects you. So moving on, I did place a photo from around the actual anniversary date and shared it with you below. This is from the recent show at Madison Square Garden by the Scorpions who are always excellent in concert. This was taken with the real rig and shared to social which is why its on the Instagram account.

New York Comic Con 2012 Takes Over The PiercingMetal Instagram

Though I’ve already mentioned this in other posts and on my other Social Media Platforms along with discussions with those I see in public, I’m happy to remind the audience that the PiercingMetal website aka Me, Ken Pierce, will be returning to the rapidly growing New York Comic Con for our third straight year as a member of the Press. The event is their seventh and as a longtime fan of all things comic books and Science Fiction I am really excited to be exploring it once again. The reason for this post is to announce that I will also be planning on using this Instagram network as much as possible to hopefully help raise more website interest and overall awareness. I’ve only had the account for I think about a month so there aren’t a whole lot of photographs to check out just yet but going forward let’s see how much more special I can make PiercingMetal by using it. Believe it or not, I could NOT secure the actual brand identity and am using PiercingMetalNYC instead which will have to do. One of my first photos for the NYCC 2012 adventuring is the cool press badge which is themed from the hit show “The Walking Dead”. I guess the other badges have some of the cast characters but as you can see here, the media have a ravenous looking zombie. I guess that applies for some of us out there in the scene. Are you going to the New York Comic Con?

PiercingMetal Announces Official Instagram Profile

At this point in time the Instagram photo-sharing social network isn’t anything new at all and it seems as though everyone is using it and having a good time. I talked about this network months ago in one of my PiercingMetal social media posts and at the time the website didn’t even have an account because you couldn’t use this with Android devices. It was only for the iPhone but they fortunately gave in to our enduser demands and gave us a version. When this was able to be done, I created a profile but did it for my other website “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” since I wasn’t sure just how I wanted to approach this particular network. I posted about it over there and you can check that out by clicking HERE. After some months of using it I realized how I could use it to help the cause of the PiercingMetal website and can happily announce that we are now using Instagram for this website as well. My first photo comes from last night’s Nightwish show at the Beacon Theatre and its very simply a shot of the marquee that announces their performance with the band Kamelot as support. To say this show was excellent is an understatement but more on that is for a different post.
