The 69 Eyes Announce Special 30th Anniversary Streaming Concert

Bands announcing special streaming concerts is no longer new news as the Coronavirus Pandemic reaches its third month or so and finds events postponed until later or cancelled in full still being announced. Recently, The Helsinki Vampires in The 69 Eyes revealed that they too will offer a special streaming concert and you can read all about it down below. Check it out.

THE 69 EYES released their apocalyptically titled new album West End last fall and started their all year lasting 30th anniversary world tour. Now they are celebrating their three decades by streaming a live show from Helsinki, Finland on Friday June 26th.at 10 AM Pacific / 1PM Eastern The Helsinki Vampires will rock around the world for their fans live on their screens and the ticket link works for four days after. More expensive ticket allows also for a virtual meet & greet with the band.

Though I’ve enjoyed shining the spotlight on the touring side of the musical fence, I should admit that I never anticipated doing them here on the website and felt it would only be an occasional thing that would be done when I had the “PiercingMetal Musings” blog. This side notion just hit me as I’ve now surpassed more than 1K of these kinds of posts and now its time to alert the masses about a super cool combination as The 69 Eyes will return to our shores with direct support from Mr. Scary himself, Wednesday 13. Helsinki Vampires, THE 69 EYES are proud to announce their Hell Has No Mercy 2020 U.S.Tour. Kicking off on January 15th at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, the 24 date trek will make stops in Chicago, West Hollywood and Richmond before concluding at Reverb in Reading, PA on February 22nd. Direct support will be none other than label-mates The Duke of Spook and his devilish ghouls known collectively as WEDNESDAY 13. Joining them on the tour are THE NOCTURNAL AFFAIR and THE CROWNED

It’s been far too long since I’ve gotten to see The 69 Eyes in concert, so this latest news from the bands label of record was a very welcome thing. Check it out.

The Press Release:
The last time that goth rock legends THE 69 EYES toured the United States, was in 2009. As the band has been busy conducting business as usual, releasing albums and touring elsewhere, the US has been waiting a very long for the return of the Helsinki Vampires. After recently teaming up with DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara’s and his wife Anahstasia’s The Oracle Management, THE 69 EYES are ready to start a new chapter in their 30-year rock’n’roll saga.

”Before releasing the new album, we’re closing a chapter in our history, by returning to the homeland of ELVIS and THE RAMONES,” stated THE 69 EYES singer Jyrki 69. “We cannot wait to play in Memphis and New York and another 20 cities! It’s been way too long. Feels like we’re really back from the grave!”
